Te Whakaritorito offers youth mentors, community workers and volunteers help with group facilitation and planning activities for children and young people.
If you are interested in becoming part of our mentoring network, or you know someone who is, contact us on the “Join Us” page where there are various suggestions of how you could be involved.
Your input can provide much needed services to children and young people wanting to build self-confidence in line with their personal strengths and interests. As a valued supporter you will receive Te Whakaritorito newsletters, invitations to interactive workshops and be kept informed about youth mentoring activities and events.
If you aren’t able to be involved with activities and events, Te Whakaritorito Charitable Trust has Donation status which means your donation qualifies for Tax Exemption with Inland Revenue. We are so grateful towards any donations made. Your donations could help Te Whakaritorito with:
- Supporting interactive training for youth mentors
- Coaching for volunteers needing help with finding paid work relevant to their personal objectives
- Kapai Te Kai edible gardening program.
