Our latest Newsletter has just been released and has articles and stories that will truly warm hearts and inspire minds. The lead article of the August Newsletter – ‘Maori Gardening, Ancient Wisdom’ gives insights as to how gardening started and developed in Aotearoa New Zealand related to the natural rhythms of sun, moon, stars and seasons.
The newsletter covers the topic of Koha on Page 4, including a discussion of what it meant traditionally and how it is relevant for today in terms of spiritual values such as manuhiritanga (hospitality).
Page 5 has an article outlining five reasons why children are magical, such as the unique way they see the world, their curiosity and unabashed heart-felt love towards others.
Lastly the newsletter has a traditional Maori story about Kupe and the giant Wheke.
